We began the writing process of this story and musical endeavor at the beginning of 2017. With a set of songs and a vision and way to shape a story that was inspired by the historic meeting of 2 great leaders the vision of mm2000 was born. This project inspired 365 days of writing and practice with a focus on getting to a Broadway stage and beyond. In the first 2 months of development we did the first Off Broadway reading in NYC (a little over 40 days into the process) and the journey continues... #MM2000 is born.

Our Story

Armed with this simple and elegant logo the author and artists Shane W. Evans (7s) set forth on a vision and sound journey that would explore the spiritual focus of the life after life of the civil rights movement for all people and question where and who we are today. This organic show continues to develop and redefine what a musical can be and how a vision can unite so called opposing ideas through simple shapes and sound.

#MM2000 is the continuation of a dream... and shows us the path to how we can focus better through inspiration and togetherness.
